We recently reported that the HTC Desire had been spotted, and the early shots showed how similar it is to the EVO 4G. There is now a video available, which you can see below and there are a few features that it will share with the EVO along with the HD2 as well.

So we already know some of the mains specs, 8-megapixel camera with front-facing camera, 720p HD video recording, and that 4.3-inch screen that makes the handset almost a dead-ringer to the HTC EVO 4G – not that that’s a bad thing.

Apart from those few features as well as the dual LED that also comes on Sprint’s flagship model, it is just another Google Android handset to add to the ever-growing list. We just wonder why consumers will want to choose the HTC Desire HD over those other models?

As yet there are no details on price or a release date, hopefully we will know something very soon. Maybe HTC is waiting until Motorola has released the upcoming Droid 2, which should be some time this week.

I have recently received an email from MSI which introduces two new thin notebooks, these are the P600 and the S6000, they have almost identical specifications.

Both notebooks feature an Intel Core i5 450M processor, 4GB of DDR3, Intel GMA HD integrated graphics, a 500GB hard drive and a 15.6 inch “Glare type” display, with an aspect ration of 16:9 and a resolution of 1366×768.

Less important specs which they both offer include a 3 in 1 card reader, 802.11 b/b/n connectivity, HDMI-out, eSATA, 2 x USB ports and a 1.3 megapixel webcam. In terms of software they run Windows 7 Premium 64 bit.

The only difference between the two models is the battery, the P600 features a 8 cell battery which gives the laptop a total weight of 5.3lbs, whereas the S6000 features a 4 cell battery which makes it slightly lighter at 5.0lbs.

The P600 can be purchased from Newegg for just $729.99, however is listed on MSI’s site for $829.99 (which seems strange), the S6000 is listed on MSI’s site for $799.99
